Tanya Costigan Events‘ Wedding Planning Workshops are becoming more successful than I could have imagined, and I’m so grateful! These free workshops are something I host every other month, each on a different wedding planning topic, each at a different location. Attendees get some real hands-on, interactive learning….stepping away from the flat screened computers and sitting next to other excited brides.
I kicked off the workshops in August 2014 and with the outpouring of positive praise, I decided to make them a regular occurrence! February 2015’s workshop took place at the Cranwell Resort in Lenox, Massachusetts. The snowy weather tried to scare us off a bit, but held off enough for the workshop to carry on. Yay!
This month’s topic was Styling & Decor. We talked about escort cards/place cards/seating charts, indicating guest food choices on the place cards, table linens, ceremony area, centerpieces, and more. Each attendee received a complimentary issue of WellWed Magazine, who is the sponsor for my Wedding Planning Workshops! They also got a gift bag filled with takeaways from the area’s best wedding professionals. Attendees and their guests enjoyed a Build-Your-Own Hot Chocolate Bar and sweets spread compliments of the Cranwell Resort.
I’m so grateful to Alisonmarie Photography for capturing the day so that I could share them with you! Isn’t her work amazing? The way she captured the light and the moments….so beautiful. She is the prime choice for your wedding photography, and she does boudoir and engagement photography, as well. When you’re done browsing the photos, you can contact her HERE.
The centerpieces you see on the tables I styled are from Badger’s Flowers in Northampton, Massachusetts. The work speaks for itself….show stopping and top of the line style and quality. Her work impresses me and I highly recommend her for your wedding flowers. You can inquire with her HERE.
I was lucky to have a local Etsy shop owner provide sample table numbers and place cards for the event. How cute are they?!? Cecelia Rose Paperie’s shop can be found HERE.
Table styling would be no fun if I didn’t have beautiful items to work with, and I often work with Classical Tents & Party Goods, who provided the dishware, the farm table and cross back chairs and linens for my styled tables. They also provided a bunch of extra overlays and runners for attendees to see and touch in person and to try on the tables to see how they would look. Classical Tents & Party Goods is definitely one of my go-to wedding professionals, check out their site HERE.
