I can’t even express how life changing this event was…on so many levels. When The Log Cabin in Holyoke, Massachusetts invited me to be a designer for this event, and that it would benefit local schools, and that it would be an opportunity to meet Colin Cowie…whoa!

The Log Cabin was transformed so that attendees were walking through real life illustrations from four well known children’s stories. This is because the event raised money for books for libraries in schools in the Western Massachusetts area.

The two scenes that my team and I designed were Alice in Wonderland and Snow White. MY FAVORITE, FAVORITE, FAVORITE.

FAVORITE.

 

Before I walk you through these real life illustrations, you should read this first…so snuggle into this like it’s a good book on a rainy day.
