On this sweltering July 4th, I’m posting a very cold and icy February wedding for Sara and Ben. Cozy up with some iced tea and take a peek at this post!

The ceremony location was very special for me, as it was the church where my mom and dad were married back in 1977. With my mom having passed less than 2 years ago, it was very hard but felt like she was with me for my very first wedding of the season.

Edwards Church in Northampton was the setting for the ceremony, and the groom was dapper in his traditional English Morning Suit. The bride was festive in her winter attire. Super cute!

The reception was at a venue that I am lucky enough to work at frequently…
Valley View Farm in Haydenville, Massachusetts. The staff is amazing, the grounds are gorgeous year-round, and I love that it is a second home for me during the wedding season.

Because the ceremony church was where my parents got married, I wanted to share a few photos from their wedding, too. When I did a site visit to the church a few days before Sara and Ben’s wedding, because I had never been, I took photos with my phone of the spots within and outside of the church that were relevant to my parents’ wedding. Nothing is different, everything was the same, and I was grateful because I could feel my mom with me 🙂
